Our vision in the Men’s ministry at Perdido Bay Baptist is to “Serve Men to develop men who serve.”

We are in a transition time in our church, and the Men’s ministry is a big part of the transition. Recently, we have had a prayer breakfast, a book study on prayer, and two local service projects. Further, some of our men meet every Sunday before the Sunday school and the worship service for a time of devotion and prayer.

In the fall, we will begin centering our ministry on a quarterly event. We have realized that many of our men have different hobbies, abilities, and likes/dislikes. However, we have noticed that what all men have in common is an appetite! We will be planning a fish fry where all men can gather for a night of fun, food, fellowship, devotion, and prayer.

It is our hope to build our Men’s ministry on discipleship groups such as Covenant Life groups, veteran support groups, etc. We will also continue to offer short-term Bible or book studies, service projects, and hobby events. We will be adding an emphasis on men’s health, an annual men’s retreat, and father/son events.
